How much do you love you Kids??

1Sa 1:11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O Jehovah of Hosts, if looking You will look upon the affliction of Your handmaid, and shall remember me, and not forget Your handmaid, and shall give to Your handmaid a seed of men, then I will give him to Jehovah all the days of his life; and a razor shall not go up on his head.
I remember when I dedicated my 2 children to the Lord. I was saying to God and the Church that the Lord lent them to me and I would lead them in a godly way. Well, I have still kept my promise to God to this day. We think that when they turn 18 that they are on their own. Shame on you if this is your thinking!! Where in the Word does it say my job is over? The love that the Lord put in my heart for them has not been removed. My children know that I will give my life for them if I have too. Does that sound like I am leaving soon? I don’t think so!! I have told my kids that even when they are old I will still be there to help guide them. How can I cut off an arm and not suffer?? We loose sight that the Lord saved us from our sin to be with Him forever. My kids know that this world will never welcome them but they know their dad will be one rooting for them in this life.
